General

Who is this platform for?

Connect for Impact is open to organisations of all kinds wishing to develop partnerships with a positive impact. This includes, among others, companies, associations, foundations, cooperatives, educational institutions, public authorities and other organisations committed to environmental, social or economic projects.

What do we mean by a “partnership project”?

A partnership project is a collaboration between private and non-profit sector organisations around environmental, social or economic issues. These projects can take many forms depending on the needs, resources and expertise of each party. Looking for inspiration? Have a look at our featured projects section.

Why start a partnership project?

Partnership projects create value for everyone involved: positive impact on society and the environment, sharing of knowledge and resources, strengthening of the ESG strategy, innovation, employee motivation, financial benefits, network and visibility, and more.

What level of involvement does a partnership project require?

Every project is different. To help you assess the investment needed, listings indicate an estimated level of involvement. This estimate takes into account the time to be devoted to the project, the resources to be mobilised and the expected degree of commitment. Before getting started, make sure you fully understand the expectations and responsibilities of each partner.

What does a partnership project cost?

Browsing and posting listings on Connect for Impact is free. The resources required depend on the project: some can be carried out at no financial cost, while others require time, materials, specific skills or a financial contribution. This information is usually specified in the listing.

Search for a project

How do I search for a project?

In the search for a project section, you can browse the listings published on the platform. Use the filters and the search bar to find projects matching your interests, your resources or your objectives. If a project interests you, express your interest through the platform so that the organisation behind the project can contact you.

I can’t find a project that suits my organisation

You can create an alert to be notified of new listings matching your criteria. You can also publish your own partnership proposal in the propose a project section.

I expressed my interest in a project but received no reply

You can contact the organisation directly using the contact details available on its website. Connect for Impact facilitates connections between potential partners but cannot guarantee a reply from every organisation. If you do not receive a response after a reasonable period, we invite you to send a reminder or to contact us. We can then check whether the organisation’s contact details are still valid and whether the project is still current.

I would like to make a financial donation

Connect for Impact is dedicated to partnerships based on sharing knowledge, skills, goods, services or other non-financial resources. For financial donations, have a look at our useful links section.

Propose a project

Which types of projects can I propose?

You can propose any project that fosters collaboration between the private and non-profit sectors around environmental, social or economic issues. For example: skills-based volunteering, sharing of resources, circular economy, awareness-raising, social innovation, lending equipment or premises, and more.

How do I propose a project?

Go to the propose a project section and complete the form with the information about your organisation and your project. After verification, your listing will be published within a maximum of 7 days. You will receive a confirmation e-mail containing the link to your listing. Interested organisations will then be able to contact you directly to explore a collaboration.

How do I remove a project?

You can log in to your account at any time to suspend the visibility of your project.

Can I post a request for a financial donation?

Connect for Impact does not publish requests for financial donations. The platform is dedicated to partnership projects involving the sharing of services, knowledge, skills, goods or other non-financial resources. For funding opportunities, have a look at our useful links section.
